Bumbo Chairs Rock!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Sophie we have so far. Just her playing away in her Bumbo Chair which she enjoys quite a bit. Sophie has definitely figured out what toys are and enjoys playing quite a bit. I think she looks a lot like her mama when she smiles. See if you agree.

Rice cereal for me please!

We introduced Sophie to a new thing called rice cereal this past week. She loved it and it's now a nightly ritual at our house. We do it right before tubby time for obvious reasons! Joannie and I both crack up how much she gets all over her. Most of it does make it down the hatch though. We were quite surprised how much she enjoys it and how well she takes it from the spoon. Although Sophie's not ready for any competitive eating contests out on Coney Island, she does like to eat, which is a plus!

Up Close and Personal!

This last weekend we took a road trip to Great Grandma Biegel's in Brookfield, MO. While Sophie isn't crazy about being in her car seat, overall she is a good little traveler. It was a tad warm yesterday on the trip home so we pulled over and did the strip down to the diaper. As you can see, she didn't mind that one bit! The visit to see Great Grandma's was so much fun. We even got to go check out the lake house and do church with her too. Thanks Grandma Mary for the fun time!
